Hygienic Check Valve / Non-Return Valve (NRV)

Hygienic Sanitary Check Valves, also referred to as Non-Return Valves (NRV), are designed to permit one-directional flow of liquids while automatically preventing reverse flow in sanitary and hygienic process pipelines. These valves play a critical role in protecting pumps, processing equipment, and product lines from backflow, pressure surges, and contamination.

The valve operates fully automatically, without any manual or external actuation. It opens smoothly when forward flow is present and closes instantly when the flow stops or attempts to reverse. This fast response helps maintain process stability and safeguards sensitive downstream equipment.

Designed specifically for hygienic applications, the internal geometry features smooth, crevice-free flow paths that minimize pressure loss and eliminate product hold-up. This makes the valve highly suitable for processes requiring strict cleanliness and frequent cleaning cycles.

Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel (SS304 / SS316 / SS316L), hygienic check valves offer excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and high temperatures. The robust construction ensures long service life and reliable performance in demanding sanitary environments. These valves are fully compatible with CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Sterilize-in-Place) systems.
